Photographer's Note
ENGLISH: After a small break from TE, I'm back. The TE Administrators have listened to us and have changed the rules relating to the Pinterest Button, which enabled the seamless stealing of our images. So bravo TE Admin. I thought I'd post this photo I took last weekend just after dawn. I wasn't the only mad person here at Maroubra taking photos that freezing cold morning. Which made me think of the things we suffer for our photography. So I dedicate this to my friends on TE.
ITALIANO: La rompiballe e' tornata.

Buonanotte e complimenti! Hello Lisa - The hero of the hour! A fine 'come-back' shot and a great choice with the photographer prominently placed within the frame. What I really like is the detail in the rocks, erosion, colours and areas of light and shade all well captured. A triumph (you know what I mean!)
Warmest regards

The man in the red cap in the background a bonus :-)
PS: I was recently in Paris. I made a few meal photo. I think I'll felrakni you from the TE. For example, duck leg confit, French pudding, such :-)

Ciao cara Lisa,
Complimenti e grazie!
Tanti cari saluti,

Dear Lisa
words cannot express my gratitude for fighting our corner and I would also like to thank the Admin Team for listening and giving us the option to opt out on our profile page. Needless to say our reward is you staying here and posting images like the one above. Lots of texture and exquisite light and a fitting tribute to all of the artists whose post their creative images here. No other site excites and educates me as much as this one!
Thanks again Lisa.
Brian.

Ciao cara Lisa,
Wow! How wonderful to have you back again and also how fantastic that your voice has been heard. I wonder if you ride as motorcycle just like Moses did - the Bible clearly states that "the roar of Moses' Triumph is heard in the hills"! And so should yours be so heard too!
And what a fabulous photograph with which we can celebrate your return! A very fitting photograph of photographers and their surroundings lit by a wonderful warm early morning light. The colours and textures, particularly of those rocks, are beautiful, the exposure perfect and the sharpness and detail exquisite.
Beautiful!
Kind Regards,
John.
P.S. I presume that tomorrow's dedication will be to the administrators?

Hi Lisa
Great to have you back!
I knew the addiction would reap its evil upon you! lol
are these people anybody that we know?
really cool looking color tones, we don't usually see these colors in our photos.
I've been away for a day or two aswell, Tosca and I just got back from a little road trip to a city called Kamloops - it was actually a little bit of a let down, but the d 4 hour drive there and back was the best. I'm sure T will post a few photo's on fb.
see you around!

Hi Lisa!
Very well said! Thanks for the notice. Saw photos of mine in pinterest and explore the world! Geez! What is wrong with those people? A simple message for permission would work! Anyway, this is a beautiful dedication! See you around!

Excellent!

Ciao Lisa,
congratulations on your successful contact with the Administrator as they have changed the rules about the Pinterest Button.
Great the view as the presentation of the lonely photographer on the rocks, taking photos,as the warm light falling on the rocks, and making the image so effective and unique.A good photojob.

Hello Lisa & welcome back!
Nice warm vs cold color contrasts between the honeycombed & pitted sandstone rock & the blue sea & sky. Good sharpness & I have to laugh when I see folks in Australia complaining it's cold, when it's +10c. I lived in Korea for 5 years, & January morning temperatures there would often hit -20c, sometimes -25c. That's colder than the record at Charlotte Pass in the Snowy Mountains. What were the 2 photographers trying to capture? I'm curious.

Hi LIsa,
Beautiful capture, and thanks for sharing. How many times have we all been in places like this at weird times and thought, "what am I doing", only to smile broadly when we see what we have captured. Stunning colour in your image, and such inusual rocks too.
Best wishes

Howdy Lisa,
I was immediately attracted to the golden glowing 'Tafoni', differential erosion and weathering of sedimentary rocks into pockets, caves and windows.
Then the hooded mysterious photographer added more surprise.
I enjoy hunting for tafoni and perhaps Maroubra has more treasures?
Keepup the fine works, and informative notes,
Cheers,
Ray

hi lisa,
i haven't been on trekearth all week, so i've missed the seemingly dramatic events over the previous days. TE wouldn't be the same without you so i'm happy your back, without having had the distress of some people on hearing about your leaving, as i've just loooked back on your previous picture but decided to comment on this one.
up early for this one. the light is incredible at this time of the day. the light illuminating the rocks is amazing. there doesn't look to be many clouds in the sky, so on days like this the good light diappears very quickly, but its still worth getting up for.
regards,
brian

Bentornata!
See you soon
