Photographer's Note
SEE WS TOO!
This year Italian holidays due to Covid. I chose Tuscany, and obviously I could not go to Pisa to meet Carlo and Cristina whom I had not seen for 7 years. It was really a beautiful day, they are two special people, they guided me and transported me to Pisa and Livorno, making me discover interesting places where tourists don't go. But of course I couldn't help but start from the Piazza dei Miracoli, where in addition to the famous leaning tower, there are two other jewels such as the cathedral and the baptistery. In the 2 WS you can see a photo of the three of us and a particular one. Info about this square on this link https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Piazza_dei_Miracoli

Grazie ancora e buona domenica

Hi Luciano
Holidays near home this year! We can't even leave our state (hence my current series from the outback). A good and slightly different view in Pisa with the slightly obscured tower and good fun workshops.
cheers

Greeting.
nice place and old architecture, well demonstrated with nice colors, contrast and good text.
Beautiful facade and details, a good moment with visitors and clouds coming.
Good work with beautiful photos in the workshop, a dangerous virus changed everything.
I wish you a nice day off, all the best.
Paja.

Hello Luciano,
Good to hear about this TE-meeting and this is a beautiful view from Pisa, the impressive architecture of the church is amazing, especially in this bright sunlight and against the large white clouds in the blue sky. There were still quite a few people, but I guess not nearly as many as in a normal summer.

Hello Luciano,
A famous place but from a slightly different angle than we usually see it. Even in Covid days it looks quite crowded. The people certainly enliven the view. This proves that you can take nice photos here even without the leaning tower. Didn't you try to convince Carlo to return to the site? ;-)
Best regards,
Gert

Luciano, everybody in the crowd doesn t wear masks i see but only some people. I never visited Pisa but i saw the famous tower from the road. The plazza that surrounds the cathedral attracts many visitors. The monument is grandiose. Fine colors, good sharpness, regards.

Hello Luciano,
Italy is currently one of the countries in Europe with the fewest new infections. So, time to see other parts of Italy and since you live in such a big country, there are always new places to discover.
In this photo, there seems to be just as many people on the Piazza dei Miracoli as before.
Beautiful combination of the Baptistry and the Cathedral.
Nicely presented with the statue and the decorated pedestals in the front.
You will still have to practice a lot to keep the leaning tower from leaning further. Practice a lot!
Best regards, Paul

Hi Luciano.
A great angle that splendidly shows us the wonderful cathedral and not least the jewel of the baptistery, the light illuminated the building in a spectacular way and with the clouds behind the cathedral stands out in a wonderful way.
Very interesting also the photos of the WS
A magnificent color, which gives the image a lot of chromatic richness.
Very good management of lighting and sharpness.
Well done. I like it.
You have a good day.
Very best regards.
Luis.

Hello,
So, you like Tuscany? I love it, begining with the food and ending with the architecture and the hills. And, actually, Pisa is the city that I liked the less :)))

Hello Luciano, an lovely shot from Pisa.
The sharp quality is excellent. You seemed to have managed to fit a lot into this composition and from a good angle.
Despite Covid, there are many people around; they add colour and enliven your scene.
Thanks for all three shots.
Kind regards, Jean.

luciano
a nice view of the duomo, a not so usual view from this angle. I remember these angels in FG was in a collection of italian music I have. nice the images of you enjoying the moment there. yes, you are able to travel nowadays, but I should to wait the vaccination.. maybe I will have a travel around march... maybe... and in some place of Brazil, of course. Brazilians are like dirty sick dogs at this moment of this pandemia.
take care

Hi Luciano
That's a pretty grand architecture well defined with throng of visitors is the second fiddle as strong key point with cracking highlights and colours to alert the eye. Nice shot

Hello Luciano,
It's always very inspiring to meet TE friends and especially in this Covid era that's extra attractive.
Of course a good idea to start with classic, traditional pictures of Pisa but I also look forward to the less visible places in this lopsided city for tourists.
Excellent presentation
Have a nice day, groet Rob

Ciao Luciano
In the amusing WS it looks like the tower is supporting you, not the other way round... :-D Thanks for this, it made me smile.
It's one of my (many!) favourite places in Italy, I saw it first in 1993 during my hitchhiking trip around your country. It left a lasting impression.
Best wishes

Ciao Luciano,
Mamma mia..... you did it again.
You're full of surprises. I didn't know that you can do Tai Chi :-)
I love this iconic shot more than the leaning Pisa. The leaning Pisa is for somebody who is lost while doing Tai Chi. I must admit , you do have the style - very graceful movement.
The last time I was in Pisa , the weather wasn't nice. Look what a glorious day you've here, the light and the sky make this shot so stunning and the people just enjoying themselves - I don't see any wrong with that as long as it's open-air and followed safety precautions.
You've indeed chosen a wonderful holiday in Tuscany. A place I can only dream but I can only lean on you to show me in TE.
Thanks for sharing esp WS2 - the famous (funny Italian) tower.

Ciao Luciano,
The architecture in Tuscany is always impressive, and the two buildings you captured here are very beautiful. There do seem to be quite a few visitors in the area, but probably during non-COVID times the crowds would be much larger. I like the puffy clouds, too. Take care!

Ciao Luciano,
I considered to visit Pisa as well. Italy is still on the good list for travel from England. I thought if Greece holiday package does not work I would book last minute some flights to Florence. That would be so funny to meet you there accidentally.
Wonderful picture here with the famous structures in such a great light, and also set against the dark clouds in the distance.
Nice to see you with Carlo. It seems a double pleasure to meet a fellow trekker.
Beautiful presentation,

Hello Luciano,
Fantastic edifice. One or two more degrees to the right, you could have fit it in the frame completely.
