The Hermitage Museum is a museum located in St. Petersburg, Russia. It is one of the largest art museums in the world and its vast collection contains items of virtually all ages, styles and cultures of Russian history, European, Eastern and Northern Africa, and is distributed in ten buildings, located along the Neva River Seven of them are themselves artistic and historical monuments of great importance. In this group the leading role it is to the Winter Palace, which was the official residence of the Tsars almost continuously since its construction until the fall of the Russian monarchy

Hi, Jose,
This is a well conceived and well executed shot.
The receding series of arches creates an excellent sense of depth. I like the balanced perspective, so that we can also see the pillars on the left receding at each stage. The natural daylighting coming in from the left side contributes to a pleasant feel. I also like that the first few paintings above the arches can be seen with good clarity.
While I like the photo, I also feel there are a few minor adjustments that you could make in postprocessing to improve it further, straightening and increasing (a bit) the contrast. I've put up a workshop (again) to illustrate.

Love it. I am Russian but never been in Hermitage before. You inspire me :)
Wouldn't it be better to increase apperture value a bit to add little more to DoF?

Olá José!
Não conheço este museu mas deve valer bem a pena!O pov está muito bom, gosto muito do efeito dos arcos ao longo do corredor e das colunas com as pinturas.As pessoas lá ao fundo também ficaram muito bem, especialmente a miúda da camisola rosa, que parece estar a admirar o tecto.Talvez um pouco mais de nitidez não fosse má ideia.
