This was shot in southern Maharashtra, near the village of Satarda.
A scarecrow in a freshly transplanted rice field, at sunset.

La photo a 閠� prise pr鑣 du village de Satarda, dans le Sud du Maharashtra.
Une vue par satellite de l'emplacement exact ici. J'閠ais sur la route dans les champs au centre de la carte, et visais vers la gauche, c'est � dire vers l'Ouest.

No Laurent, someone took off his shirt in the heat on the field...
Beautiful shot, diagonal line crosses picture-space, dividing the rice-field which looks amazing. Good clarity, and wonderful light in gold.
Also, my friend, the picture is "busy" - not "minimalistic" at all.

a captivating image, the minimalism of the theme is very evocative, the composition is wonderfully balanced. I like very much the way the homogeneity of the backdrop is broken by the strong diagonal, the equally minimal and elegant scarecrow and the bright reflection of the light that brings in magnificent warmth. The colours, reflection and rice make these sunset beautiful.
Indeed the scarecrow is the real eye catcher on these picture.
The diagonal line care contrast with warm colours.

Love the shimmering light top left in the rice paddies and the scarecrow shirt at bottom left. A superb abstract, minimalist shot, with good sharpness and nice graphism and repetition of the rice seedlings. Bon Dimanche!

What a great shot you got here! I like the light reflecting on the water, the pattern formed by the little rice plants and that diagonal. The shirt is so well placed it almost gives the feeling it is a ghost. Great work!
