Photographer's Note
Siena's Duomo (Cathedral) is one of the great, if never finished, churches of Italy. We'd seen it before but on this occasion, 2 years ago, the front was under restoration. To save people from the disappointment of not seeing it a huge, life size, digital image of the facade was erected. With a bright blue sky to match the print it was still suitable for taking photos.
I hope you enjoy a different view of the duomo.

Hey Ian,
A splendid image, with a good motive, a great POV and a lot of well saturated colors. It`s also quite sharp and clean. Good work.
Best regards.

Hello dear Ian
have a nice day for today and a happy
evening
looking at this photo many memories
came into my mind from my last
trip to Siena many years ago
and particularly to this cathedral...
I am feeling too happy looking at this
cathedral and feeling that there are
restorations yet...I do not like
the abandoned churches
regards
costantino
