Pagoda at Songjeong Beach, a photo from Busan, South

Photographer's Note

A lonely pagoda on the Songjeong Beach headland, framed by pine trees. There are a couple of fishermen on the rocks at far right. I've dodged the shadows and added saturation. Taken on a cloudy, overcast summer's day.

Songjeong Beach can easily be reached by local bus from Busan, & is less crowded than Haeundae Beach, to the immediate south.

They found a fine location for the building, and I notice the typical roof construction...
Good sharpness all over, fine lines in the composition!

A nicely framed composition of this pagoda; the twisting tree trunks introduce and interesting graphical element and create a good sense of depth. The eyes drawn towards the pagoda by the contrasting gravel path. Good sharpness.

The trees are framing well the pagoda. Thew pagoda takes my eyes toward the horizon which is giving depth to the composition. The point of view is showing the details and colors of the pagoda. The light has a good effect on the colors. Have a nice day.

A lovely tiny pagoda highlighted by the natural framing of the two pine trees. Well chosen POV and a highly graphic composition. You managed to obtain a good contrast in spite of the cloudy day. Very oriental atmosphere.
