That's a mighty river, and your shot does it justice, it looks huge here! A lovely expansive view across the hills and forests in the distance, while the scale of the river makes these people look tiny. Excellent idea include them for scale, and the sweeping arm of land to the left embraces the picture nicely

Hola Maria,
I am impressed with the thick green foreston the far side of the wide river. It doe's "beat" the Nile and Mississippi on width, yet the flow seems as calm surface. People on shore look as tiny against nature.

that is a lovely photograph with the gorgeous blue river providing a very special charm to the composition. The framing is perfect with the group of people by the waterside making a perfect point of interest. Excellent contrast with the warm colours of the foreground and the hills fading into the distance provide a perfect backdrop.

una bella veduta dalla Siberia con il verde che scende fino sulle rive del lago e la bellezza dello stesso che per la sua ampiezza ricorda il mare.
Colori belli e intensi che arrichiscono una composizione ben fatta di un luogo che tutti sognano di poter visitare.

This is a very nice view of the wide river and the mountains. The composition benefits greatly from the crowd of people gathered on the shore nearest you. They bring life and atmosphere. The light is beautiful and the colours are very pleasant. There are very fine tones of blue, green and yellow.

Impresionante perspectiva con la gran vista del gran rio, y la linea de montañas cubiertas de vegetacion, cerrando toda la perspectiva, el grupo de gente junto a la orilla, nos da una ideal de las grandes proporciones del lugar.
Un esplendido colorido en esta bonita imagen.

Il doit être l'après midi chez toi, ici arrive le soir 20h et il pleut Pffffffff
Immense étendue du fleuve et profondeur jusque les montagnes vertes, un endroit bien présenter et composer

Le ciel est bleu, mais la forte luminosité peut lui donner une couleur cyan, le cyan est la couleur complémentaire du rouge, elle apparaît surtout au voisinage du soleil ou lorsque l'image se rapproche de la surexposition
Sache que l'appareil photo ne voit pas comme l'oeil humain, la vue humaine est beaucoup plus précise :)
Il est possible ici d'ajouter une fine couche de filtre dégradé bleu ciel sans dénaturer la photo

Bonsoir ma chere ami du Sud,

How have you been, crazy as ever I hope?? :) Anything that has the word 'Siberia' attached to it instantly conjurs up a barren, frozen tundra and lack of life...this however, suggests the complete opposite. With plenty of blue sky and blue water, I was already attracted to the color, but it's the inclusion of people that really make this image strong with that human element. Looks like a nice day to sit by the lake and simply enjoy the sights and sounds of nature. A somewhat minimal, yet very appealing picture. Enjoy the weekend. Be good...and I'm glad you enjoy France as much as I do, because I have a long series of pictures lined up. :))

Hi Maria,
of course, without any doubt, such photos must be viewed in a large size (thank God now we can do it in beta. TE version!)
It's an impressive view presenting to us the power and expanse of the river - part of Nature. The people standing on the river bank emphasise this effect.
