Toronto is a very dynamic city and the financial hearth of Canada. It is a city of high-rises, having more than 2,000 buildings over 90 metres (300 ft) in height, second only to New York (which has over 5,000 such buildings) in North America.

In North America, it's the 5th largest city, behind Mexico, New York, Los Angeles and Chicago. But somehow, it's an easily walkable city and within 3 days, you can pretend you have seen the first layer and have a sample of every neighborhoods and principal attraction.

But of course, Toronto have much to offer, as a major scene for theatre and other performing arts, with more than fifty ballet and dance companies, six opera companies, two symphony orchestras, an international film festival and many other cultural events.

If you visit Toronto, don't miss the beautiful view you'll get over the city skyline by taking the ferry to Centre Island.

Hello Andr�,

Quel plaisir de cliquer sur la version large. La lumi鑢e est parfaitement 閝uilibr閑 entre l'閏lairage urbain et le ciel ! Cela donne une image tr鑣 homog鑞e. J'aime beaucoup cet alignement de building et ce d鬽e qui semble gigantesque. La tour la plus haute est 間alement une marque permettant de reconna顃re les contours de la ville.
C'est superbe.

Bonjour Andr�,

La version large est vraiment bluffante! Parce qu'en principe, il faut aller tr鑣 vite pour faire un pano � l'heure bleue! Tu as employ� 9 canon 1Ds? ;-)
Avec cela , avec l'eau, l'air et le feu de toutes les lampes des immeuble, la composition est parfaite!

Deja, il y a une ambiance color閑 superbe entre chien et loup et la version large fourmille de details.

this is really beautiful!
a sight to remember indeed.
the effort of taking the ferry, finding the best angle, setting up the tripod, stitching 9 files and carefully post-processing paid of here.
very eye pleasing with only one little complaint: even the large version is too small to really enjoy this ... poster size would do real justice to it!

My God, this is amazing. This looks like morning, but I am pretty sure you weren't allowed to sleep in the island, so I guess this is late afternoon... You really have wonderful editing abilities. I am speechless. Really. The composition is also amazing. That cloud in the right spot (although in the right side of the needle would probably work better, since it has more space available - but it's also perfect the way it is), the incredible sharpness, the exposure, everything. I never tried to do a panorama with a SLR, but I guess I could never do a vertical one because I simply don't have a tripod mount like you. But I will try a horizontal one of these days. Andr�, it's one of the best panoramas I saw here. Period!

Waou, waou, waou... Oui, je sais, c'est pas le meilleur commentaire de l'ann閑, mais qu'est-ce tu veux dire de plus devant cette petite merveille, franchement ?!
C'est juste parfait. La version large est � tomber, on se perd dans tant de d閠ails, superbe.

A giant presentation, with all respect and credits. Top class image, nothing to improve, it's perfect, set and done. Even a so called real pro doesn't make them better...so welcome in the world of professional photography ;-)
Great great great shot my friend. I stood her myself a long time ago and the view is indeed out of this world which you show here in a beautiful way.
This screensize doesn't do justice to it, print it out at least at 2 meter and hang it on your wall and enjoy this fanatastic image..!!!

Wow, great technique and a wonderful result. The colour is the first thing that really gets our attention, however, the perfectly balanced lighting is great too. This is a real stunner!

excellent exposure and very nice sharpness and details. I had the chance to get a similar shot from the plane, but didn't have my cammera handy :(

... et pas am閞icain r閜ublicain. (J'aime pas l'autosatisfaction, le p閠role, la cupidit� et les mensonges r閜閠閟 qui nous ont conduits dans une guerre de trop...)

this time I won't spend my time in writing what a fantstic job you did here, but rather a question. I see that this is a stitch of 9 vertical images. WOW! I did some shots like these in Yellowstone and Canadian Rockies, but I can't get the images out of my PC. I have 4GB RAM and yet the machine tells me that it hasn't enough power to handle. ???? What do you do different then I do? Do you have a monster PC?

Well here you have it, all your hard work and patience to stich these nine images together have produced an amazing and flawless image filled with beautiful colours and details, and for me the clouds make the shot. What an awesome panorama of Toronto!!! The skyline is very popular, I have seen it on many photos before, but there was hardly any photo which was as good as your shot !
The colors are just amazing, the quality is great and the stitching was done perfectly. A really clear sky, the river on the bottom and and the famous CN Tower a little bit left off central.....a well composed picture, too! I see it磗 already god a green star, but I must have this one in my favorite gallery !!!
