St. Anne's Church (Lithuanian: 妚. Onos ba瀗yčia) is a Roman Catholic church in Vilnius' Old Town, on the right bank of the Vilnia River. It is a prominent example of both Flamboyant Gothic and Brick Gothic styles. St. Anne's is a prominent landmark in the Old Town of Vilnius that enabled the district to be included in the list of UNESCO World Heritage sites.

The Church of St. Francis and St. Bernard (also known as Bernardine Church) - is a Roman Catholic church in the Old Town of Vilnius, Lithuania. It is located next to St. Anne's Church. Dedicated to Saints Francis of Assisi and Bernardino of Siena, it is an important example of Gothic architecture in Lithuania

Hello Piotr,
I remember these churches in Vilnius. The best presentation is indeed from this side angle.
With the red colour of their bricks and tiles they surely stand out well against the sky.
Very good sharpness, clarity and composition.

Bardzo ładne zdjęcie mojego ulubionego miejsca w Wilnie, uroczy kości�łek św. Anny, imponujący Bernardyn體, no i nie wspomniałeś o pomniku Adomasa Mickevičiusa, narodowego poety litewskiego (i białoruskiego też) :).

two wonderful complimentary subjects here. They seem to be made for eachother. the red stone, arched windows, Gothic styling, large clouds, fine lighting. lots going right for this scene. glad you can keep them in the same frame together. cheers

The red walls and roofs of both churches contrast well against the blue sky. Missed these when I was in Vilnius but probably saw them in the distance from the Citadel. Tfs!

z podziwem ogladam Twoj reportaz z Litwy. Piekny kraj, swietne miejsce na fotograficzna wycieczke.
Robiaca wrazenie architektura ktora doskonale tu pokazales przy ciekawym swietle i z atrakcyjnym niebej. Oczywiscie swietnie przemyslana kompozycja z optymalnego punktu widzenia.
Bardzo chcialbym kiedys sie tam wybrac ale chyba jeszcze nie predko to nastapi...
