Every visitor has certainly taken one or more photos at this location.
This is the place that is probably the most photographed in Bruges.
But I gladly admit it is wonderful to be able to see this.
Maybe there are many tourists but Bruges is worth a visit
The historic center is listed as a medieval city on the UNESCO World Heritage List. It is egg shaped and approximately 430 hectares in size. The entire municipality has an area of over 13,840 hectares, including about 1,075 hectares in the sea, near Zeebrugge. The city has more than 118,000 inhabitants; around 20,000 of them live in the city center. The inhabitants of Bruges are called Bruges people
I hope that you enjoy it

Hallo John,
Vele groeten, Paul

Hello John, yes, we have seen this view before but each time we see it there is always something new to discover.
The perfect viewpoint, you give us such sharp details.
The boats have disturbed the water, but even so there is still a hint of pleasing reflections.
I look forward to seeing this for real one day!
Kind regards
Jean

Hello, John!
The view of the city is really wonderful, with very nice medieval architecture of the houses and beautiful reflections on the waters of this canal, with some boats full of people to give more life and dynamism to the scene! Very nice job!

Hi John,
You have captured well the movement of the tour boats. The point of view is showing the details of the buildings and of the church. The colors are beautiful. Have a nice day.

Hallo John,

Hello John,
Again a photo of Bruges of the highest quality, technically and artistically. This is by now a well known view, including the boats packed with tourists, but it is so beautiful it can be seen time and time again. The sharpness and colours are perfect, as always.

Dag John No wonder why so many people buy boat tours to visit
West-Vlaanderen; the historical interest is very chased after!
And your admirable picture. masterly captured, constitutes a strong incentive to attract more and more tourists! Groeten

Hallo John,
Perhaps the most famous corner in Bruges, and certainly one I would like to visit one day seeing as I slept through Belgium! The crowded tour boat at left enlivens the scene. Good color, sharpness and saturation. Tfs!

Hello John,
This is such a beautiful scene. There are so many great parts to this photo. Of course the castle itself is lovely, and I like the greenery that drapes over the side. The other architecture in the frame is also very pretty, and I like all of the orange brick. Then there are the small boats, and the small bridge off to the side. This would make a perfect postcard from Bruges. :-)

Hi John
I love your viewpoint leading the eye to both sides of a classic picturesque canal sight with great sense of depth packed by beautiful chocolatey architectural detail. The moving boats anchors the point of focus effectively. Awesome subtle light and colours in all and how well you preserved the features throughout with lovely touch of blue sky and water sheen. Fab shot pleasure to view. Congrats
Best regards

John, Brugges historic center is worldwide famous for its ancient architecture, its canals and old bridges. Excursions are organized on tourist river boats on the canal. Magnificent church tower in the bg. Perfect sharpness.

Dag John,

The POV chosen is wonderful, John, placed the corner across the canal in the moddle with view to both sides.
The boats added sense of action to the scene.
Good afternoon,

Ciao John
è vero, è un grande classico, ma è anche una bellezza unica.
Soprattutto se si ha una luce come questa e un cielo con le nuvole bianche per ottenere una splendida fotografia come questa.

Hi John,
it is a classic and I would certainly recognize it, even without ever being there!
What a beautiful place!
I am not surprised there are crowds of people getting there: it is so beautiful!
As I declare in my profile I actually like taking "postcard like" photos.
Even if other people did it before, it gives me a great satisfaction to take it as well. Of course deep inside I hope to do it better than anybody else but in reality the light conditions may not be favourable when I get there for a brief moment so if someone lives nearby, he has much better chance to be there at the perfect light conditions.
This is the case here: the day was perfect and everything is as it should be, the sky is brilliant, the boats are caught in nice spots as well.
Fantastic natural colors.
Excellent high quality work, I love it!

Dear John,
As you indicated in your title, this one is a classic view, though hard to get bored with it. Apparently the weather was just fine and the boats helped to enhance the composition.
Best Wishes,
