History
Most visitors to Breskens come not only for the beach but for the fish. Whether you sleep in Vlissingen, Breskens and Cadzand, Breskens is the place to fish and shellfish to eat or buy.
Breskens is a fishing port where every day version of fish coming ashore. At the harbour, you will find also some popular seafood restaurants.
Also, you can buy fresh, smoked, boiled or fried fish at the port of Breskens.
You can still buy fresh fish in the fishing port of Breskens. Between fishing boats in the port of Breskens is the striking fishing vessel HA 10.
The HA 10 you can own smoked mullet, eel and mackerel, buy Zeeland lobster and sour sprat. The smoker is probably if you come to buy fish.
If you want the skipper cook your lobster spot.

Le port se pare de magnifiques bateaux dont un superbe voilier, les couleurs 閏latent comme un fruit m鹯. Le ciel est griff� de cirrus et de petits nuages en coton.
Un canot, un bateau de p阠he, l'ambiance et le d閏or sont plant閟 tr鑣 joliment.

Als ik naar deze foto kijk denk ik: Was het maar weer zulk lekker weer en Zeeland is toch ook wel weer eens leuk.
En als ik je info lees loopt het water mij in de mond.
Dit is een goed begin van de week ondanks de regen die op mijn raam klettert. Dank daarvoor.

An interesting note, as always, and a beautiful photograph of this fine harbour in which the brightly coloured boats make a strong foreground feature against the far distant view and beneath a glorious sky with its streaky white clouds on this beautiful summer day.

Hello John,
Very good to see a traditional fishing port still going strong whilst many others are struggling or have more or less disappeared. I like the point of view between the boats and the perspective that opens out on to the harbour. Lights and colours are most agreeable and sharpness impeccable.

Beautiful picture.
I like very much the harbour composition with so many colorful boats. You have framed the view with blue color in the left and red in the right ☺
The highlight for me is the beautiful sky with some diagonal pattern of the clouds.

Goedemorgen John,
Wat een prachtige foto van de haven van Breskens. De boten vol met kleurrijke elementen zijn heel mooi aan beide zijden van de foto geplaatst. Het zonlicht is heel aangenaam en de wolken in de blauwe lucht vind ik ook schitterend.

Heb je ook van thuis naar Breskens gefietst?
Heel mooi met de rode en blauwe kleur van de boten maar het grote zeilschip links vraagt toch wel de aandacht.
Prachtige diagonale wolkenlijnen in de lucht.
Het havengebouw dat we zien, is niet meteen het meest aantrekkelijke doch de foto is goed samengesteld, zeer helder en scherp.

Bright summer day with beautiful visibility along the port, brought out the best of colors, John.
The blue boat contrast the "Deo-Volente" in red and yellow.
Calm water surface with a slight rflection seen on sides, also contibuted to the marvelous scene.

Hello John,
The fresh fish that can be eaten here sounds very tempting and appetizing, meanwhile I can enjoy the bright colours of these boats in the harbour. Mainly blue to the left and red and yellow to the right. The thin clouds make the sky attractive and I also like the long view across the water, far into the distance.
