Good Morning Tonglu, a photo from West Bengal, East

Photographer's Note

I took it just few minutes after sunrise. It was Tonglu. Tremendous cold wind at the height of 10000 ft. You can see a portion of Tonglu trekkers hut in frame and the majestic Mt. Kanchenjunga at right. Some trekkers had spent their night at tent. The whole atmosphere was superb with a thin layer of snow and the soft colours reflected by first sun light. Hope you'll like it.

Hi Subhendu,
Nice POV. I would prefer complete trekker hut rather than half. But the peak behind should not be cut. It require more wide lens. Still a great shot. Nice contrast & beautiful colors. Bravo.

To see Kanchenjunga with your own eyes
must be a life time experience. A very
clear atmosphere of this unspoiled place.
You can almost feel the early morning

Hello Subhendu,

The pure clean colours really make this scene catch my eyes!
I assume the clarity is at least partly due to crisp clean air in this location...
A well composed presentation, where the red tent is the eye-catcher before my eyes go to the snow covered mountain range in the back..!

What a fantastic colors in this capture. I like the contrast created by the vivid red color of the vivac tent in relation with the yellow one of the trekkers hut and the intense blue of the sky due to the great heightness.
The majestic mountains in background are a good reference to see the immensity of this landscape and the depth of the image.

This really a wonderful felling to see Mt kanchenjunga in naked eyes from tonglu. I remember my first trekking experience for sandakfu and falut with my school frnd it was a fantastic trip. nway here color composition is very reach and perfect framing with Mt kanchangunga and trekker's hurt. Sharpness of the picture is very remarkable. well Done.

Excellent shot showing my favorite massif - the mighty 'K'. Though, I would have preferred a slightly wider POV showing the entire trekker's hut and the range at the same time, this too has its oen charm with the marine blue sky and the dazzling white peaks. A visual delight.
