Photographer's Note
Another view of the tourist oriented ceramic handicraft of Guellala. I don't know about the 'authenticity' of these objects, but some of them are really nice (some of them charmingly naive) and I have no reasons to not believe that they are really handicrafted locally.
Guellala is famous in Tunisia for its pottery.
You can find aditional notes on Jerba on the first of my posts the Guellala museum.

Another eye-catcher. Already the thumbnail was quite inviting by its repetitive forms of these ceramics and obviously also the color richness of the same. Excelent framing!
Kind Regards, Peter

Ola Jose,
I am not much attracted by colored pottery on photos, therefore I am quiet about anything than technical questions. And for that well done, good light and sharpness.
Cheers Ulf

Bem visto e original.
Um abraço.

Hi Jose:
Beautiful shot here of these handcrafted beauties. I think you captured it at about the right distance--any closer and it would have been too bland, any farther away and it would have been too busy. Well done.

Hi Jose,
This is an excellent composition. The ceramic in Guellala is among the nicest that I have ever seen... but a bit expensive.
Thanks for sharing.

Hello José,
I know that it has been several weeks since you submitted this image, but I see a patter -- the more ceramic plates you place in your composition, the more points you appear to receive. In order to help invert the pattern, I would like to critique this excellent photo. It is a virtual symphony of colors and geometric shapes that you have put on display. Many thanks,
Bulent

Jose: finely tuned still-life. If only for the detail and geometry in this fine pic. regards, c

i saw those too and i beleive they are hand crafted, people there take pride in such things, the way to know is to see if it has an eleveted signature if it does then its by machine not man. your crop factor is good and shows the detail of the drawings

Hi Jose,
I really like this kind of close-up shots that are bursting with colours.
The light is good and colours appear very natural.
It is interesting to see that motives are both abstract and realistic (or naive, as you said).
