Photographer's Note
This is the mausoleum of Pari Bibi situated in the grounds of Lalbagh Fort. If Dhaka had any tourist attractions, this would probably claim to be one.
The grounds of the fort include some very pleasant gardens. It's a relatively peaceful place and an oasis of calm away from the hustle and bustle of the city.

Hi Jonathan, I enjoy the symmetric composition you have to this picture. Nice color contrast of the historical building in contrast with the modern buildings in the background. A nice capture of the visitors in the courtyard and good capture of the reflections. A nice and sharp image.

Hi Jonathan,
Great capture of this antique building. You really framed it very well, in a very simetric way. Excellent colors and light.
Take care

I find this fa鏰de a very interesting example of religious architecture, with wonderful details to observe. Your symetric composition works fine, with this beautiful reflection in foreground. The people are a good addition. I like the peaceful and warm atmosphere captured in here.

La sym閠rie de la photo est rompue par les personnes qui donnent de la vie au lieu. Les couleurs sont excellentes.

Hi Jonathan - wonderful pink colours, the building needs a little TLC, but this is probably the first photo I've seen from Bangladesh that shows attractive architecture, your note "if Dhaka had any tourist attractions..." explains why...and also why this is one of few countries I never considered travelling.

Well I am waiting for Weswang to post a new photo so i thought I would stop here and say what an incredible place. I love the reflection of the man walking at the end of the pool. Nice work capturing these details. I keep thinking there must be a tilt down on the left on this building but its so minimal its hard to prove..must be my slanted eyes fooling me1 Ha..thanks for sharing!

good symetrical compo to show us this mausoleum.

Hi Jonathan
You have captured well the elements of symmetry in this attractive, if dilapidated looking building. We also get a glimpse of the city behind with its contrasting architecture. Nice inclusion of the passers by to give us an impression of daily life.

Hi Jonathan,
The different colours gives a lovely contrast, your symetric composition works fine, with this beautiful reflection in foreground, maybe I have a little cropped as well as to left as to righthand, for cut the modern buildings.
Thanks a lot,
John.

Hi Jonathan
I remember visiting this place. It was nice and calm. I liked the gardens too. You seem a bit fortunate because there was no water in the fountains when I was there, so you've managed to capture a good reflection. Nice colours and light. Well done.

Relinds me the taj mahal (in a small size) !! Funny to have the people as big as the building. Maybe a little too centered.
