Bangladeshi Street Boys, a photo from Dhaka, North

Photographer's Note

I met these two kids on the streets of Dhaka. Sadly, the Old Town is swarming with impoverished children like these. Fortunately most of the kids I saw still had big smiles on their faces.

As tourists are rare here it is fun for them to jump in front of me to have their photo taken. They are thrilled when I show them the shot on the LCD screen.

Les enfants sont souvent insouciants et c'est une bonne chose. Cest deux petits ont un regard tr鑣 profond mais ils ont l'air optimistes. Le portrait est impeccable et traduit bien des choses.
