Photographer's Note
It took longer than for the boat to leave the quayside than expected. We were still here a couple of hours after boarding. It meant that we arrived in Khulna very late the next night but it did give me the chance to capture the night scene at the dock.
No tripod - the camera was carefully balanced on the railing.

Hi Jonathan,
Great atmosphere captured. And with that low shutter its a very lively pic full of movement. The colours are also good. Maybe sky's little bit noisy and I'd prefer a lower and zoomed PoV focusing on the busy ppl, but thts just my preferencee. Good pic anyway.

Excellent night composition, full of action. The light management is superb as well as the colours. I like very much the blur figures moving among the crowd. Splendid work!

Hi Jonathan, A nice perspective view to the dock with ghost view of the crowd hurry from place to place. Good capture of the different light colors to form the symphony of the evening life. Excellent sharpness. I guess that you used a tripod to get this clear image.

Jonathan,
Alright this may not make sense...but even your blur is sharp...what an evocative shot. The green deck lights are great...the whole shot gives me the feeling that I am headed out on a voyage...well done

Nicely balanced composition and color. Sharp despite the long exposure. Did you hand hold?

Hi Jonathan,
Excellent night shot without a tripod! The atmosphere is so well captured, with all the activity going on and the blurring in some persons. The composition is very well framed and I love the green colour in the boat at left with the guy up there, looking down to the scene. Congratulations!

Jonathan, c'est l'atmosph鑢e de foule qui est dominante ici. Les lumi鑢es et les couleurs sont bien rendues.

Hi Jonathan,
I am beginning to like night shots more and more. I love what you have done with your exposure here. The person in white at about the center of the photo has a movement that adds a lot to the photo, and it was fine already! And what about the green in the boat? Pretty good too! There is nothing I can think of right now that I don't like about this shot.
What I like most: light and white person's movement.
Very well done.
Best Wishes
Louis
