Sundarban Sunset, a photo from Khulna, South

Photographer's Note

The boat to the Sundarbans National Park takes a day to make the journey. We started in the afternoon and sailed into the night before mooring half way to our destination. En route we were treated to a wonderful sunset illumiating the sky with an orange glow and reflecting on the water.

Hi Jonathan,
Beautiful sunset with the sun just about peeking behind dark clouds. The colours are gorgeous. Maybe something (a boat perhaps) is missing in the FG.

Bangladesh is very unknown country for me, and this photo makes it more appealing to my eyes. You achieve to transmit the magic of river trips in this photo. Bring me back some nice memories. Thanks Jonathan.

This is a superb photo and you have captured the light just right. I like the line of light reflected in the water and the warm orange tones. The partial covering of the disc is good too and the sharpness is great. Very good work.

Another beautiful sunset shot coming from you. VEry nice capture of the sun still high on the horizon and hidding behind the clouds. The resulting colors are wonderful and created a beautiful reflection on the water.

A much better than average sunset, with marvellous light and interesting cloud formation. This one does not look over-saturated, and the reflection is a beauty, allowing the birds to be seen in shilhouette.

Impressive capture of this sunset, Jonathan. A beautiful impressionist painting, indeed. I specially like the effect of the reflections on the water, but also the dark clouds surrounding the orange glow.

At first I read suburban sunset, anyway beautiful sunset, especially the golden water, I wish tghere was a boat in it though.
