Lotus farmer, a photo from Prey Veng, East

Photographer's Note

Hi Everyone ;)
Although this picture was taken in the month of february, the main season for Lotus farmers is the rainy season (from may to october).
In addition of the beautiful pink flowers the Lotus fields are providing an habitat for birds and a variety of aquatic life.

Tu te fais rare sur TE.... mais tu as choisi une photo superbe pour ton retour.. la lui鑢e de fin de journ閑 a donn� ces magnifiques couleurs � ce champ de lotus dont on voit bien les d閠ails. Super bokeh progressif.

Hello Marilyn,
The natural light you got few hrs before sunset has been marvellous. The lotus flowers in the fg and the picker appears sharp and bright, but soft.Pink lotus and green leafs has mixed well. The blurred bg flowers and the crop(?) field acts as a good background. I thought lotus grows in water only. TFS

Non sono mia stato laggi�, ma dalle foto e alcuni documentari che ho visto, suppongo che si tratta di un luogo ricco di fascino e di mistero.

Beautiful and natural colors of this lotus field where the man is freely moving through. Like the color contrast between the pink lotus flower and green leaves. I like the sharp foreground and blurry background.

It is a stunningly beautiful sight of the pond surface and the blooming lotus, and all the elements attractively arranged within the frame. I love the man's expression at having his photo taken. A teriffic shot I'm very impressed; the light and colors are sumptuous and delicate and the view point works a treat. Truly wondeful selective focusing and presentation. Well done.

Absolutely one of the most beautiful Lotus pond image I have seen. It is beautiful in many level, I love the lotus at all the stages of its life. The young leaves, from buds to full bloom flowers, and from the young fluits to dead ones. I would have love to stand right by your side. the presence of the farmer adds to the daily live value. One of my favorite flowers, plants and photos.
