Photographer's Note
This is a continuation of the shot I posted the other day.
Now you know why the family or famillies sit on the oppositie side of this. I just wanted to show you the contrasting sides of life and sides of the place.
Yes the water drifting downwards and also infront you can see the rubbish they have consumed and thrown out and their boats are almost going to collapse.
They just saw me taking pictures of their houses and thinking maybe if this photographer could change the way we live.......
It is difficult, no matter how much money I give, it is never enough.
I hope you like it

Hi Dan,
o yes, I think there are too much "other sides" in Cambodia. Poor people.
This photo is very impressive.
Thanks for sharing it with us

Hi Dan, A very nice daily life shot such that we have inside view of the life there. A nice composition. I agree with Chris about the tilt. I like the color tone of the muddy water in contrast with the clean sky.

Hi Dan,
I agree with the former writers about the horizontal, nevertheless give this picture very much perspective and nice colours.
Best regards,
John.

Hi Dan,
A very effective, well composed shot which illustrates the point of your note. The poverty and decay are very much evident. Your POV is excellent, and one gets a great view of the dilapidated boats and strewn rubbish. A powerful, evocative shot, Dan. Well done.

Hi Dan,
Interesting contrast with the otherside. First the people and now their boats. And indeed there is more nessecery than your money to change their lifes.

Hej Dan,
It is interesting to see the other side as well and it's good you show it too. It's not good only looking at the green sides of life.
Well done, hilsner,
Lars

Hi Dan. Not the most scenic photo subject but still a well taken shot. You framed it well and this is a good daily life catch bringing attention to their struggle. Nice one Dan.

It's very important to see the both sides of a thing or a theme. Thanks to this shot we can see the "other" side. The tilted horizon it's not so disturbing. Nice work.

Hi Dan
Not sure about the tilt, but this is still a superb slice of daily life from Cambodia. Perhaps a bit more sharpness would help too. Good work overall.

Hi Dan
Thanks for this picture. Sad reality. Cambodia is poor and difficult. It's nice to show the other side of Angkor.
Well done

I have the impression that these are Vietnamese boats...
Since I will return to Cambodia soon, could you please give me the accurate direction on how to come here, whether from Japanese Bridge or Movivong Bridge. Thanks.
