Photographer's Note
Have you got a head for heights??
This is the highest part of Angkor Wat taken on a late afternoon, is reached by incredible steep concrete staircase. Certainly not a place for the faint hearted and meeting someone going the other way isn't a pleasant experience though. When I was there I saw one tourist crying her eyes out at the top, afraid to come down.
Just to show a different way of looking at things while those tourists down below should give you an idea of the height.

Hi Abmdsudi, the perfect photo for those who suffer from vertigo like me..ahaha ... the perspective is fantastic and brilliant and perfectly reproduces the feeling that you can experience climbing this Angkor staircase. Once again a very original and different photo from a place well known by tourists. Have a nice evening and thanks,Luciano

Hi Abmdsudi,
It is often difficult to give a true indication of how steep a slope is in a photo, but you have succeeded here by including the people climbing up and down the steps. The steps look to be different sizes too - that makes them harder to climb. Great capture.

Hello Abmdsudi,
A great view down the steep stairs with the people down there all gathered to look up at the daredevils who had climbed the building. Very good sharpness and clarity for the details as well and also a fine, warm sunlight.

Hello Abmdsuri, I have got a head for heights but my curiosity is greater and I climbed all these stairs, here and also in South America. Would I be able to do it again? The worst moment was to begin, then It was OK. Here one can go near the side "wall", in Mexico there is nothing to touch to feel safer.
Great picture and memories.
Best regrads Malgo

Hello Abmdsudi, an excellent presentation that really emphasises the steepness of the steps.
I can imagine the distress that descending the steps might cause.
Including the details of the walls beneath the steps and the people sets the scene for the viewer.
Kind regards, Jean.
