Photographer's Note

Taken on Tsim Sha Tsui East Promenade and "Avenue of Stars"

The waterfront walkway offers some of the best views in Hong Kong, especially at night with the view of Central lit up in neon.
You meet joggers, musicians, photographers with tripods, musicians, families, insistent fortune-tellers and people fishing right off the walkway. The promenade officially starts at the New World shopping centre and runs parallel to Salisbury Road.

Much of the land covered in the Tsim Sha Tsui promenade has been "reclaimed" from the continually shrinking Victoria Harbour. In the past decade, Hong Kong's surface area has grown about 3% due to land reclamation.
