Photographer's Note
This was taken where I took the boat going to the mist.
I found this place quite interesting because in the past fishermen couldnt sell their fish here, but recently, as you can see in the picture, that the fishermen in the boats have buckets and in thee buckects are fish, clams, prawns, Lobster etc and it was just amazing, the way they sell these fish is quite extraordinary, they shout and sweet talk the customers and basically have a good chat if they cant get the sale too, it is pretty good place to just have a casual stroll or just to talk to the fishermen, but the only thing is, is that when you talk to them their boat is moving and it makes one sea sick.
As you can see in the middle it is empty, it is just because, the fishermen their had sold all his fish, I took a colour one but it wasnt that good, but it had the boats in a row.
The way they sell the fish is they have a long stick and a net and they make the deal then fed the net to the customer and the customer just throws the money in and then it is excahnged with the sea food
I hope you like it.

Very TE spirit shot Daniel. It was nice to read your notes. Shot itself is in my mind a bit mysteric - gives mind of historical view. But by estetic view point this is marvellous shot. I like that percpective, so that tones lighten and lighten in horizont. Thank you very much.

Very atmospheric... I can almost hear the scene when I look at it. Nicely detailed too. The tone is a little bit too pink for my liking, but only a little. A good approach.

Mist and the tint is what makes this photo stand out. In addition, your POV is very good together with the perspective.
Good motif and PP work.
Bravo, Daniel!

These do think me of the colours of 50 years Daniel, because of the good post-processing, I like that perspective, so that different tones and lighten in horizont, including fine details of this riverside.
Thanks,

John.

Very nice scene from this fish market, and your vivid description really makes the whole thing come to life as we can see some of the interaction that is found in your note. Good perspective, and the sepia treatment looks quite good on this one, too. Thanks Dan.

Hi Daniel
An excellent daily life shot, with a timeless, historic mood conveyed by use of sepia tones & b&w. Good sharpness & tonal range.

I like the mood here, looks great.
Nice daily life shot of Hong Kong, and not a tourist in sight, right! :)
I found it just a touch dark, which may be true to the scene, but I wanted to see all that detail. Tried a workshop, see what you think.

Very nice perpecptive in this one Daniel. It looks like you where floating above them for the shot. I really enjoy the use of sepia here, it adds a lot of feeling and drama to the photo. Good DOF with the background fading in the distance.

Very nice perspective and point of view. The pattern of pillars and people moving into the distance accents the scene. And there is a nice connection between them and the boats below creating a nice energy in the image. The sepia adds a sort of eerie glow to the scene with the haze. I like the haziness in the scene and the lower contrast, though it could probably use a little boost to make it a little less flat. Nicely done.

Great shot, Dan,it looks like a past century picture. Anyway, Sepia color was a good choice.
