Meditation, a photo from Samtskhe-Javakheti, East

Photographer's Note

Just a photo to make you smile a bit ... during travel abroad you can always meet strange characters, and even among tourists you can find many. This is an example, immersed in meditation by observing a pagoda of the renovated Rabati Castle complex, but he did not pay attention to his clothing.
Akhaltsikhe, literally "new castle"; formerly known as Lomisa) is a small city in Georgia's southwestern region of Samtskhe-Javakheti. It is situated on the both banks of a small river Potskhovi, which separates the city to the old city in the north and new in the south.
In the old part of the city one can see an old fortress, castle and mosque, the old fortress of the Jakelis (13th�14th century), and St. Marine's Church. The hills nearby the city harbour the Sapara Monastery (10th�14th centuries).
In the late 1980s the city was host to the Soviet Army's 10th Guards Motor Rifle Division, which became a brigade of the Georgian land forces after the fall of the Soviet Union.

MEDITAZIONE

Una foto giusto per far sorridere un po'... durante i viaggi all'estero si possono incontrare sempre strani personaggi, ed anche fra i turisti se ne possono trovare molti. Questo � un esempio, immerso nella meditazione osservando una pagoda del complesso rinnovato del Castello Rabati, ma non ha fatto attenzione al suo abbigliamento.
Akhaltsikhe � una citt� della Georgia di 17.383 abitanti nella regione di Samtskhe-Javakheti.
Fu la capitale dell'antica regione georgiana di Samtskhe. La citt� � attraversata dal fiume Potskhovi ed � un importante nodo stradale verso il remoto valico di confine montano di Posof tra Georgia e Turchia. Akhaltsikhe � anche una base strategica per visitare la citt� turistica di Vardzia, quella termale di Borjomi e il Monastero di Sapara. Interessante il centro storico chiamato "Rabati" caratterizzato da case colorate in stile georgiano.

I like the way you have placed him in the frame, perfectly enveloped by the dome. I also like the selective focus, the further objects getting blurrier gradually gives an excellent 3D sense. It is unfortunate that his less glamorous side is showing but it is funny!

Haha, great picture, such a most charming photo of this man. He's is sitting so wonderfully right in front of the dome and small spire. I like the depth of field a lot, especially with these orange bricks.

Perhaps this is not the most beautiful view in all of Georgia, but at least the man showing his buttocks to the world is well placed. You captured him perfectly in front of the brick wall and the dome, so the composition is very impressive.

I just could not make sense of this from the thumbnail; what a surprise and a joy when I saw it full size!
This is what in the U.K. is called 'builder's bum'! AS you can imagine, builders, often bending over, present a view like this!

It is a perfectly judged photograph, where the focal figure is very well positioned within the shape of the b/g dome. In fact, he appears to be wearing the point on his head!
You were obviously very alert on this day!!

Unfortunately I抦 out of my daily ration of workshops otherwise I could have added some photoshopping with the spire-shaped top of the pagoda a little lower, connected to the cap.
But of course the 揃uilders Decollet� is the Cherry on the Cake.

Indeed I smiled, Luciano. I do not have the guts to take such a photo. had some opportunity in the past travelings, but did not keep people's photos on diff. situation.
The place looks impressive with the dome on the back side where this guy must had been meditating upon.

very well spotted, it is quite funny indeed. I observe such scenes quite often. Especially ladies wear frequently low rise trousers which results in scenes like this sometimes on the street r on a supermarket.
Here well captured in a touristic location with the lovely shape of the tower well placed behind the model.

Luciano, a humorous shot taken spontaneously during a visit. That tourist is taking rest seated near a monument. His body follows well the shape of the dome in the background. Fine colors, good sharpness, interesting photo note, regards.
