Mist Mist And Mist...., a photo from West Bengal, East

Photographer's Note

I took it at Tonglu. I had posed earlier another shot of same place with same trekkers hut but that time the weather is bright and sunny one. A thin layer of snow is glowing with morning light. Here completely different atmosphere. You can see the same hut surrounded with mist. There is nothing at that time ( though a panoramic view of the Himalaya can be seen in a clear day ) to view except Mist...Mist...Mist...It really haunted me that time. Now I am sharing it with you. Hope you like it.

That looks like Scotland or similar, mist all over. Despite weather you produced a sharp photograph. Colors are adequate. When you see your picture you feel cool - you almost feel the mist on your skin.

You have caught skilfully the mysterious and special effect that creates the mist on this house and on the landscape, which almost we can not see.
The result is very interesting and gives a lot of strength to the image, because almost we can feel the dampness that exists in this atmosphere.

Mists always provide a good photo opportunity & you'd taken it well. What I like is the ramshackle fence in the FG and the neat house in the BG, enveloped by the mist. Khub shundor, dreamy image!

It is really not that easy to capture this kind of atmosphere, you have to really have just the right amount of mist yet not too much that the background still visible enough for the viewer to appreciate. Here you have done a good job with the depth of the scenry as it get less clear and lighter as it goes further back. Love the misty atmosphere and very moody scene. Thanks
