Photographer's Note
At the end of the Kanghi Festival (December / January full moon) of the Naga-Maram people, the boys go through the houses singing and get rice wine from the housewife while the girls paint them all with the fermented rice spread, on their heads and faces. From a high place a dog's head is being hunged. The married women who did not participate in the celebration, compete in jumps to catch a hanging and swinging dog head - a reminder of the days when they did this with human heads.

Hello Yuval
A very graphic and interesting custom from this part of India. Keep the puppies in the back yard. Thanks for sharing your part of the world with us.
