Photographer's Note
This shot is almost a continuation of the previous one. Here we see Chuim (on the left hand side), the young monk from gangtok who was kind enough to show us around. He is originally from Bhutan and he explained the meanings of the inscriptions and postures of Lord Buddha to us.
His english was not strong .. my nepali was horrible. Yet his behaviour was so warm and intimate that it shattered all barriers .. that of language, culture, distance, religion .. true humanism ??

Hi Samrat,
nice to see the colourful inside with the monks. Great composition where light is finely managed. Like the contrasting colours very much. Excellent...
Best wishes.

Hello Samrat
Once inside a monastery, the splashes of colour everywhere, the dominance of red definitely catches the eye...I guess the purpose is to ward off evil spirits. Like the moment you captured with the monks in animated conversation. Exposure control has been good
Best,
Angshu
