Photographer's Note

It is on the trek route of
Phalut (11880 ft) , distance of Phalut is 24
km from Sandakphu (12000 ft).This small lake is
around 16km from Sandakphu.
The water is as blue as sky
here. The trees have a burned
look in this part of journey. We
had taken a short break and completed our lunch here.
We have enjoyed the heavenly look
of nature. Hope you also like it.

Hi Subhendu,
An impressive but totally different landscape.
Judging from the vegatation you must be at a
higher altitude. Good reflection in the pond.
You get the impression that bush fire has left
the trees in this state.

The photograph gives the impression of altitude. The place seems superb, and it must be indeed an excellent course of excursion. The lake, the reflections, the bright colors are pleasant. The sky appears to me to be turqoise, but it is perhaps its natural color at this time. Beautiful image of nature and relaxation. Cheer.

Ok for the nice landscape, but the sky is burned, difficult to make a measures choice for the different lights with the foreground.
In such case we use a grad filter on the camera, or a little under exposition.

Nice one Subhendu....while the trees definitely add interest with their barren and burnt appearance, the red colour of the dresses also jump out of the screen. Nice picture, quite well composed

You really must like hiking in the mountains a lot. Interesting places and destinations you are displaying at TE, I like it. It shows different vistas of India, which are not so well known. Here you are showing us how humans can destroy the forest. Not much of the trees have been left. What a sorry view, but it is reality. Thanks for sharing and reminding TE members about protection of the forests.
