Gairibas

Photographer's Note

I took it while approaching Gairibas. It is in the trek route of Sandakphu. You can see the huts of Gairibas below. The sanctuary starts from here. Rare animal red panda could be found here. Except it bear, leopard etc. are the other habitant of this place. From Gairibas you can trek a uphill of 3 km to reach Kalipokhri. You can see the way through rhododendron forest in this shot. Nice place. Beautiful environment with the incoming clouds. I enjoyed it very much. Hope you also like it.

I'm impressed by the quality of this photo. The details are suberb thanks to the excellent sharpness. Colors are also natural and pleasant. But the composition is what makes this a lot interesting. You made great use of the diagonal of the hill and fog. Very well done!

I like the diagonal line about the picture.
Also the fog in background gives a nice atmosphere.
We see the small way swinging motion make between the mountains.

This place is not only a wonder of nature, but also it has a kind of mystery in it. It should be nice to have a glass of tea or coffee while resting above the clouds. Very good POV and an impressive capture.

Nice view of the green slopes with the clouds hugging the slope. The winding path creates a fine perspective and the ant-like people gives an idea of scale. Its always difficult to control exposure on these white clouds, but you've done well. Good work here!

A well framed composition and an interesting and lovely landscape. The green is so intense and those trees in the fg are a major subject which leads the eye towards the houses. Technically flawless and highly descriptive. A very good work.
