Darjeeling is popularly known as the "Queen of the Hills" and produces the famous Darjeeling Tea, one of the world's finest teas. This is the land of the world heritage Darjeeling Himalayan Railway where the century old miniature steam engine still chugs uphill vying for space with the fast disappearing Land Rovers..Darjeeling with its natural beauty provides a wide variety of activities from liesurely scenic walks to more gruelling activities such as trekking and river rafting for the adventurous ones.

This is a very good landscape; bit noisy may be due to fog.

I have been to Darj, & this brings back good memories. I got a similar view from the Silver Springs hotel. A little soft, but what a view of Kanchenjunga! Tfs!

Exactly or your picture are three layers.
The middle with mountain tops and low clouds are very nice.

Hello Sanjiban,

I guess Darjeeling is one of the best known Indian cities, also because of the tea!
And the location is awesome, proven by this fine image...
I notice how the cloud formation merge with the mountain range, all in this beautiful postcard!

The point of view is sending my eyestoward the city then towrd the mountains which is giving depth to the scenery. The principle of the thirds is respected, the sky, the mountains and the city. The luminosity is enhancing the beauty of the colors. Have a nice day.
