Photographer's Note
In a lost valley near the Nanda Devi mountain, Martoli is a small village. In autumn and winter, nobody lives here because of the snow (the village is at about 3384 meters above sea level).
In a hill near the village, a hindouist temple has been built. Here are the bells of the temple.

Salut Stephane,
Alors tu as fait ce fameux trek. Je regarderai attentivement tes futurs posts. Mais je vois que c'est déjà un trek de 2008.
Dans les projets, j'ai en tête de retourner dans l'Himalaya indien, mais plutôt pour aller du côté du lac Tsomori.
Pas courant le sujet de ta photo. C'est la première fois que je vois une telle succession de cloches.

very nicely spotted indeed.gives the feel of the place and how rugged and dry it is
.the diagonal of the white covered wood,and the red flag on the upper and left 3rds line makes the pic really attractive.

Belle luminosité et beau cadrage, la ligne de fuite nous amène plus loin peut être pour continuer la route... Belle série de cloches, on voit bien les détails sur la première.
