What a stunning place, and a beautiful photograph to show it to us! The light makes the peak look almost like a 2 dimensional cut-out. I wonder if there's any detail in the deep shadows in the bottom half of your image... Maybe I'll take a look and do a little WS. Although not nearly so high, I posted a similar shot made in the Alps here . Regards

Hi Subhendu, high mountains. I have heard about turning on the lights in Himalayas, here we have the last rays that lit the peaks so wonderfully. Excellent sharpness and colors. The sky is so dark, amazing.

Nice ray of light illuminating the snowy peaks whereas the rest is in the shadow (taken early or late?) They contrast with the dark blue sky.

Hello,

It is not easy to do such shots. During my visit in India and Nepal, I tried somethings but I have few good results.
I like the composition here leaving a big part of shadow. I feel it is putting even more in evidence this stripe of golden colors io the summits.

I discovered this wonderful capture in Facebook, and I must say that it is a spectacular photo, which fills our spirit of serenity and peace, because of the magnificence of these peaks bathed by the Sun of the evening, with a few precious golden tones and a strong contrast with the darkness of the valley.
