Photographer's Note
The Hunt for four
I thought I might as well add this to the hunt, it was my last day in Bali and I went to the Art centre with my friends and the scenery you see is the art centre, it is all open air performances, I know you cant see it in this picture though.
Anyway, we were about to cross this bridge when we saw these four boys on the bridge and pulling on the strings as you can see in the background, these are not fishing lines, they are lines attached to wood, with a string attached on either end of the stick, so that if anything falls into the river from behind it can be caught by this primative method, my friend saw this football coming through and he tried his hand at this but failed miserably, but it was full of laughter with the kids.
Later I took a sneaky shot of the boys trying and they just wanted to pose infront of the camera, well they were climbing on top of each other until they calmed down a bit and I think this was the 5th shot which I got them posing differently but naturally, I just found this picture to be fun and something for the Scav Hunt.
They loved the looks on their faces when they saw the replay on my digital camera display.
I hope you like it

It looks like a difficult group to shoot, but you did well considering ;o) I like their very different faces and the peace sign made by the blurry hand in the forground.

good note.. I know what you mean about everybody smiling when they see the digicam display. The blur on the foreground boy's fingers I like, however in this photo I think the slight subject movement in the rest of the pic (maybe due to exciteable boys and a slow 1/60s shutter speed) is a little distracting. I think for shaded scenes like this it would be OK to ditch the polarising filter and use a faster shutter speed.

A bit unsharp, but still a great candid shot of daily life in Ubud. Good note too.

On sent beaucoup de vie sur cette prise et l'ambiance que le cliché degage est tres bon un peut comme si l'on retomber dans l'enfance.

Very funny poses these kids made to you! I believe this could work very well with sepia tone.

I think if you crop out the people to the extreme right of the shot and a bit from the top you'll empower this photograph that much more. It's the kids that drive this shot; where they are is very secondary. Otherwise this is a great people shot
