Photographer's Note
I visited Naoshima island at the end of my tour in Japan in November 2014. Here is a night picture of the hotel, my room was the one in the right. There was a pond reflecting the sky and the architecture. Ot was possible to go up over the oval.
From the Benesse website:
Benesse House is a unique facility that combines the functions of both museum and hotel.
Four hotel facilities—Museum, Oval, Park and Beach are available. All were designed by Tadao Ando.

Ciao Livia,
This is such a futuristic hotel! It's like staying inside a spaceship. :-) I like the giant oval with all of the great reflections on it. This view makes me wonder what the inside of the rooms look like.

Hello Livia,
This is such a tranquil picture with its curves and gentle colour. Almost abstract, it is hard to imagine this as a hotel.
An impressive image.
Kind Regards, Ann

ciao Livia,
Grazie!
c.
