Photographer's Note
Geisha in park in Kyoto
I walked around in the Park East of Kyoto (forgot the name) and found about of dozen of Geisha's posing.
This was one of my favorite shots.

Un festival de couleurs qui s'accordent bien entre elles. J'apprécie ici le contraste entre le visage figé de la Geisha et l'attitude de sa main qui évoque le mouvement.
Avec une telle prise de vue on comprend que ce cliché soit ton favori. Bravo !

Welcome to TE Frans. This looks like an illustration from an old book. Were they really Geishas, or just dressed up like that, why were they posing? Anyway, very good first posting.

Welcome to TrekEarth
Do you know why they make themselve so white?
Good contrasts and colors!

Great Shot Frans, the colours of the maple tree match perfectly with the obi she is wearing, i like the composition as well although I would like to see the photograph cropped a little to remove the green leaves on the left hand side

Considering you were using a disposable camera, the color composition is quite good. The face of this fake geisha can be improved to show more depth by using Photoshop. Not your fault, due to the limitations of your disposable camera.
