Photographer's Note
This picture was taken using my mobile phone behind my mother's house before sunset. I wish I had my Nikon with me.
The vast green field is a month old paddy. It'll turn gold in 100 days from the day it was planted. The harvesting season for paddy will begin after 110 days in the field. Then there will be the kite flying season.

Nice colors & dramatic clouds Jusni. You need to be aware of tilted horizon. I wish it's not from the mobile phone too. But you can always pay your mother a visit. Maybe you can invite me to your mother's house the next time I go back to my kampong in the north. Your kampong must be wonderful ... on an island in a sea of padi field? Regards. Latiff.
PS: Welcome to TE.

Assalammu'alaikum Warhol,
The signature scene of the country up north. Wide open expanse of green with islands of coconut groves and rumah kampong. Throw in a roaring clouds, and you have a surreal Gothic impression of a Malaysian pastoral scene. As for the tilted horizon, it kinds of make you slide to the right, giving attention into what's amidst within the shadow.
Tell you what, put me in the list with Latiff and Sayeed.
Regards
Rabani

A wonderful scenery. Your mother is lucky, and you, too!!!
No matter it was a mobile phone camera, it´s a beautiful landscape and the clouds are impressive. Bravo! A good capture!

J: some pretty stunning possiblities in your landscape repertoire. Careful with your horizons - an achiles heel for me as well when you pay too much attention to the details catching your eye...

Hello Jusni,
Amazing cloud fornations! I'm not an expert on clouds but I'm sure the have a name...
A well composed presentation with interesting details, but maybe the colours suffer a tad because of the cellphone camera?

Jusni,
How much do you regret not having your Nikon that moment?
Anyway, your photo is quite good for being taken by a phone.
I like the cloud formation and colours.
The tilted horizon is very clear and you could have easlily corrected in a simple PP.

Hi Jusni,
Wow! Gorgeous sky, very well caught. You made a clever compo, putting those trees on the corner, somehow making it look like the clouds are radiating from them. If it hadn't been shot with a phone, I would mention the noise, maybe too much on the shadows, but the fact is that with such difficult light is amazing how it sorted out so well.
Regards, José.

Cette prise est vraiment etonante, et beaucoup plus quand on lit qu'elle a ete prise avec un appareil portable. Bravo Jusni, bien resussi, meme avec un equipe photographique tres modest.
