Photographer's Note
This waterfall was found inside the Malaysian forest, I named it " Japanese Waterfall " because the species of grasses and koi fishes are typical elements for Japanese gardening, and it is within the area of Japanese Village - Bukit Tinggi Resort.
The water is flowing from the pond that I show in my previous photo, and continuely flowing to some other ponds. All water flowing from a stream in the jungle.

Hi Ally,
Despite the photo lacking any real light, the composition you've composed here is fantastic, it really is the shot you made it! The splash of colour from the fish is great for the overall look of the photo, it wouldn't be the same without them, and the texture of the water due to the slow shutter speed is great. A very nice shot indeed!

Hi Ally! It is a interesting corner that you give here! Splendid attribution of flow because the speed of shutter is low Certain reflections of lighting and closed corner of frame help. The fishes with the colour and the place extracting the attention,I like it. Exceptional idea

Olá Ally, wonderful detail, very well composed in the vertical. I like the hairy appearance of the japonese grass and the water motion. Still, the best detail are the red fishes in FG, as it was in your last post ;-)

hi Ally
Interesting koi color to stand out from this green and grey of the fountain pond. The flow of water is very important in this corner, both for the fish and the sound of water.
The grass is not Japanese but the fish is a good sign of it.

Bonjour Ally.
Les deux poissons sont très bien placés dans la composition pour mettre en valeur les couleurs de l'eau et de la végétation. Ce jardin japonais est décidément une merveille.

Hello Ally:
A wonderful composition full of freshness and color, especially in fish.
The format was indicated, and shutter speed allows us to grasp the cause of the water with a beautiful tone.
While the scene presents a closed, the frame has been well balanced. Excellent shot.

Ally,
Though the light is not ideal for photo, you make the best of it. and maybe this is better, so you don't have too much glare unless your using polarize filter. I try many time to photograph these fishes and didn't work so well because I didn't have a filter with me and there reflection and glare. Very nice and serene place to enjoy this Japanese garden. Well done. Thanks Ally.

You have handled this very well and without a tripod! The speed is slow enough to convey the movement of the water without causing blur of the moving fish. The rocks and grasses are pin-sharp showing you have a steady hand. Well done

Hello Ally,
Which pleasure of looking at such a decoration, an artistic natural composition. The colors red breaks the monotony of the gray and greens. It is well seen and quite carried out. Cheer.
Have a nice day

Hi, Ally -
It's a lovely composition, and the fish are perfectly placed. But something bothers me about the grasses; they look artificial, or more precisely, they look obviously post-processed. I did a small WS to see what I could do; you may or may not agree with it.
Best,
Dan

Hello Ally,
I like this beautiful waterfall with the red fishes, even despite its being a bit too dark. Very good composition in which, I think, all the details/elements are important. I guess it was difficult to capture this particular moment to include the fishes in the FG at this particular place of the waterfall :) the red fishes really enliven the photo very much!
best regards,
Elena

the capture of the movemnt of the water fal is an asset to the composition. The point of view is giving depth to the photo. The details and colors are clear and sharp. The colors are enhanced by the quality of the light. Have a nice dya.

Hi Ally,
a lot of things in Malaysia are expensive...books, cars, houses etc. The items that enhance excellent thought and development are very pricey too.
This is an excellent shot of the pond with koi. the clusters of grasses are lovely and you depicted it well in a very soft and subtle composition that display moods of peacefulness and calmness as in the Zen tradition.
Excellent composition.

Foozi

Hi Ally,
AN enchanting scenery, masterfully used to produce a wonderful photo, very achieved technique and aesthetics wise. The compo is spotless, with the stream drawing an inverted Y slightly off centred. Beautiful well rendered colours, a very nice motion blur on the water, a touch of colour and animal life given by the fish, which are also very well placed. It's one of my favorites in your gallery!
Regards, José.

Hi Ally "Shevchenko",
this is a Japanese waterfall...in Malaysia!
I like the delicate colour of grass and the line of the water; the two red fishes give a colored spot to make the composition more attractive.
Good picture,

Hello Ally
The rocks are wet and the grass so green and sharp. The shutter speed is slow enough to capture the waterfall and yet the fish don't seem to have moved. Well done, Marlene
