Narrow bridge..., a photo from Shan, North

Photographer's Note

On the banks of the Inle lake is a small market, half local and half touristic. Funny enough, tourists rarely venture beyond the souvenir shops....
In the background is a bamboo market... these two guys wouldn't give way to each other and started pushing each other, but only for fun! Mind you, falling in this open air sewage may be extremely...disgusting!

Sur les rives du lac Inle un petit march�, avec une moiti� pour les locaux (nourriture, tissus, etc...) et le reste pour les touristes (souvenirs)
Bizarrement les 閠rangers ne se prom鑞ent rarement au del� de leur "section"!
Au fond, une partie est consacr閑 � la vente d'immenses bambous, tr鑣 pris閟 pour la construction des maisons sur pilotis.
Ces deux gaillards ne se laissaient pas passer, et, pour blaguer, ont commenc� � se chamailler.... Et tomber dans cet 間out doit 阾re extr阭ement d閜laisant!

Une bonne prise de cette joute amicale avec en arri鑢e plan le march� int閞essant. J'aurais laiss� un peu plus d'espace au-dessus du toit bleu mais c'est un d閠ail.

La vache � droite de l'閏ran semble regarder la "dispute" avec un regard plut魌 dubitatif !!! Une int閞essante et lumineuse prise de vue sur ces sc鑞es de vie locale, j'aime beaucoup le piqu� de l'image qui nous permet de voir beaucoup de d閠ails. Pour la travers閑, je pense que je n'aurai besoin de personne pour tomber dans le foss�, l'閝uilibre aurait raison de moi...

This is a very interesting and absolutely high-quality picture from such an exotic for me country as Burma. The scene is composed in such a way that it seems to be three-dimensional, maybe due to the perfect depth of focus and ideal sharpness. Excellent presentation of Myanmar's daily life!

I remember this place so well! When I was there there were not so many tourists. A very good daily scene here, with these two boys in foreground and those locals and cows in background. Very well framed!

Morning Laurent, a great image. I like the bright sharp colours against the dark browns and greens.. but I also like it as it is a good TE image.. There cannot be too many places in the world that still use the old Ox wagon in daily life. well done and TFS Rich

a nice daily snapshot from the daily life of the people and especially from the young boys as trying to passing by from the narrow wooden bridge fighting and pushing each other for their entertainment..The backdrop of the image is very realistic and perfect captured.

This photograph of Myanmar is very different from those that have commented here on TE. Shows us a different reality of the monasteries. This is real life and the difficulties that these people can in their day to day.I like, photographed with good timing from a great POV.
