Photographer's Note
The mosque was built in 1647, during the reign of Mughal King Shah Jahan, as a gift to the people of Sindh for their hospitality . It has been on the tentative UNESCO World Heritage list since 1993.
The mosque was built with acoustics in mind: a person speaking on one end of the dome can be heard from the other end when the speech exceeds 100 decibels. (WIKI)

Difficult shot to take Atif considering the glare outside and the shade inside. i had similar difficulties in Iran. A little too bright for my liking but the architecture is fantastic. The stonemasons and bricklayers were real masters of their craft. Not to mention the people who designed, fired and glazed the tiles. Salam. Klaudio.
