Photographer's Note
It was a windy morning in the pacific side of the Philippines (Aurora Province) when I passed by this scenery. In times like this, shooting in B&W is better. 5 secs exposure was used to create the desired effect on the waves.

Hello Al
Love the very surreal feel to your image. I have in the past used ND filters to for this effect. But sadly to say here in Florida, we have no spectacular rocky beaches. Well done on your capture.

Hi Alford,
Nice photo well managed, good effect for the waves, interesting contrast rendering in b&w version, charming landscape with this coast and these rocks formations, tfs.

Hi Alford
So you got what you had in your mind, the 5 seconds exposure transforms the waves into a mist over the ocean.
Well thought and done!
Have a nice day

Hi Alford
That's a long exposure capture with piles of atmosphere that you've certainly captured the mean and moody weather. Wonderfully gloomy - and the sort of day when my camera would stay firmly in its bag, but you've inspired me to try in these conditions.
But there's one issue need be addressed here: over sharpening causes white halos round the edges which ruins the whole capture. Hope my sincere comments is of great help.
Well done
Best regards

Hi Alford, B&W works well for this scene, creating drama Whereas in colour it might be a bit flat. Only suggestion would be to mask the sharpening a bit on the edge of the dark rocks as they have a bit of a halo. Cheers, Steve

Hello Alford,
I am sure that in colours it would look also nice but this black and white version is very attractive. The long exposure works here very well giving such a silky look. Beautiful rocks
Take care
MAlgo.
