Photographer's Note
As I told you before, the collection of Muzeon Park is composed by typical soviet sculptures that were removed from public areas of Moscow and new artworks created in more recent days.
Some of these new recent sculptures are not so interesting, most of them have no political-ideological interference and some are very beautiful and creative, I guess the material of some of them is so fragile to be open air. In this corner of the park, located at side of the painting gallery, there is a huge amount of samples. In this photo you can see a small view. In the far BG you can see a monument, very tall, I will show after, it is located in the edges of Moscow river.
................

Hello Jorge,
What we see here could hardly have provoked anyone, neither during Soviet days nor afterwards. None of these sculptures looks very interesting, but seen together like this they make an impression. The light wasn't quite to your advantage, but the clouds make a good background.
Best regards,
Gert

Hi Jorge,
this is a good idea indeed. Instead of destruction the old monuments are turned into an interesting museum.
Nice weather with darker clouds at the horizon and brighter at the top.
I would never guess the location of this photo.
Very well done,
M

Hi Jorge
Lots of interesting old statues with good sharpness and a nice diffused light thanks to the clouds. We can see the top of a tall old sailing ship in the bg. Tfs!

Hi Jorge,
The trees are giving a touch of nature to the scene. The point of view is showing the details of the sculptures and of the clouds. It is clear and sharp. Have a nice day.

Hello Jorge,
I can understand that the propaganda sculptures have found their place there, like Lenin or Stalin monuments or the fight for freedom in the world, but what about these masterpieces? For instance, the Tree of life here on the left side. They are just ugly. What was the use of this stuff earlier? Behind the trees, I notice the Peter the Great monument. Amusing photo. best regards MAlgo

Hello Jorge,
I've never heard before of Muzeon Park in Moscow but your note makes me think of a similar park in Budapest. I don't know if you've ever visited Hungary. But in Budapest they have Memento Park where all statues from the communist era were also collected.
I found it an interesting visit with many extremely large sculptures.
I can imagine that not all inhabitants of these countries look at it with equal pleasure.
For a foreign visitor it is obviously part of the history of the visited country that is seen there.
Best regards, Paul
