The New Tretyakov Gallery is a branch where is shown the artistic production from Russian art from beginning of 20th century to nowadays. Most part of this period of time was occupied by the communist regime, in the beginning the artists had some sympathy by the regime and had freedom to create what they wanted, but some years ahead many were persecuted, in special during the days of Stalin.
This is a painting of Alexander Deineika, he is one of my preferred Russian painters, he liked to use discrete colors and themes like soccer and nude women. I choose this canvas to post because it talks more about Russian history. This artwork was created in 1928, but what we see here is a replica created in 1964.I presume the original was lost. The name os the canvas is "Petrograd Defense" and show us the city of Saint Petersburg with a group of military marching in the snowy city. At each time I see this canvas looks for me the women are using dresses made of transparent plastic.

A Nova Galeria Tretyakov é uma filial onde é exibida a produção artística russa do início do século 20 até hoje. Esse período de tempo foi ocupado em sua maioria pelo regime comunista com regras duras criadas para a produção, no início os artistas tinham mais liberdade e simpatizavam com o regime, depois acabaram sendo perseguidos caso não seguissem as regras, em especial nos tempos de Stalin.
Essa é uma pintura de Alexander Deineka, se chama "A Defesa de Petrogrado" e mostra um grupo de militares marchando na neve em São Petersburgo. A tela original é de 1928, mas essa que vemos é uma réplica de 1964, creio que a original se perdeu. Esse é um dos artistas russos que mais gostei, seus trabalhos tem cores discretas e temas como mulheres nuas e futebol, mas escolhi mostrar essa tela porque exibe um pouco da história russa.
Sempre que observo essa tela me parece que as mulheres estão trajadas com saias de plástico transparente.
