Photographer's Note
The most popular route for Russians is the Trans-Siberian Railway(Moscow - Vladivostok). It is about 9,300 km long, with 850 stations passing by. It is a seven-night, eight-day trip for more than 164 hours.
I want to live slowly and time-independent.
Sometimes I want to live in one place for a long time and talk to strangers.
I'd like to thank this train crew for allowing me to take pictures. He was very humble and kind.
This is what I felt during my trip to Russia.
In order for Russia to become an advanced country, it must accept many manufacturing capitalists and technology overseas immigrants to Siberia and the Far East. The city-to-city gap is so wide and the highways are relatively poor that distribution costs soar. Major cities have too little population.

Hello Jang
Maybe it is meant to stay this way. I do like the idea of the trip though across the great Siberian wilderness. Russia is full of wonder on a natural aspect. Many virgin forest untouched by humanity. nice image of interest.

Hello Jang,
It does sound a very interesting journey, with so much to see through the windows travelling from one destination to a new one so far away!
Of course, if you are keen on seeing and speaking to strangers, you have a captive audience!
The crew member looks a little surprised that you wished to photograph him but it's an honest shot, with a timelessness by using b&w.
My warm regards,
Bev :-)

Hi Jang
B&W is the appropriate choice for this minimalist photo. I must say that that cabin doesn't look very comfortable.
cheers
