Photographer's Note

A photo from a recent trip to the incredible Dagestan, where people have always lived close to the clouds. This is a village of Gunib which, situated on top of a former glacier, and historically inaccessible to conquest, was the site of heroic resistance in the past.
Today many villages on top of mountains and rocks are abandoned, their former residents having moved to lower grounds, but Gunib remains where it has always been.

Impressive this town built on this slope of the mountain, good POV and view, good effect too with this sinuous road, perfect rendering, colors and sharpness, tfs.
