Going towards the Daut River, a photo from Karachay-Cherkessia, North Caucasus

Photographer's Note

These bike tourists are walking down towards the bottom of the canyon of the Daut River, one of the most picturesque and sparsely populated river valleys of Karachay-Cherkessia. This clearing between the birch grove and pine woods was maybe the last place in their trip so brightly lit with the sunlight. Further, up to the Black Sea coast there was overcast and rainy weather.

Hello Sergyi,

An another excellent shot with bike tourists in the mountains.These two tourist give an idea of the important scale of the place. Excellent POV which give greta propsect effect. I like too the flowers which give colors to the FG.

Typical trekking terrain this!
I notice the steep hillsides in the V-shaped valleys, something the suggest they were created by rivers rather than ice...

Another fantastic photo with the bike tour group in a truly spectacular place, I like the POV with the two diagonals that mark the two sides in the foreground, magnificent mountains in the background and all with a beautiful range of greens, silhouetted pine trees in the median plane add charm to the image, ideal for cyclists give us the largest proportions of the picture.
