St. Petersburg

Few cities can offer so many stunning attractions and intriguing moods as St. Petersburg - City of the Tsars.

From the vibrant colors of spring, through the sunny summer days and endless twilights of the famous White Nights, the brilliant golden sun of autumn, and into the crisp and brittle brightness of a St. Petersburg winter, the City casts its own unique spell over visitors.

Created by Peter the Great in 1703 to be his "window on Europe", St Petersburg combines its fascinating Russian heritage with a distinctly European outlook. Considered the cultural heart of modern day Russia, St. Petersburg is rapidly regaining its reputation as one of the Great Cities of Europe.

Hi Sasko,

I like your style...the colours are vibrant and the sharpness is perfect...you have captured the essence of St Petersburg. Would have preferred a more panoramic crop but then you would have lost some of the clouds...nice one though, I like it :)

molto bella la resa della superficie del mare, le ondulazioni ed il blu profondo sono di grande effetto.
Gli edifici sono in perfetta posizione tra mare e cielo, un cielo tra l'altro molto bello.

Hello Sasko, Lovely scene that you have captured here. I recognize this from our visit to St Petersburg several years ago. Your photos from that area have been spectacular and stunning. Although it is a beautiful area, you have served as the messenger, with your camera, to show us all the wonderful castles, buildings etc of the city. Great job. REgards, Roger

Sankt Peterburg je upravi鑕no imenuje Benetke v Parizu in tudi ob polno鑙. Moram priznati, car Peter I., neprijetno spomnil na Poljskem, je naredil veliko delo. 萿dovito sestavo, veliko barv in odli鑞o ostrino.
