Finnish Gulf in 50 km from St.-Petersburg looks like as edge of the Earth now. This winter the gulf is not completely frozen yet.

This does indeed look completely wild, and I'd love to think the dog was a wolf! I'll bet there were plenty of signs of civilisation behind you, but you've done very well to capture this bleak, beautiful scene. I was in Tallinn last year in February and took some similar shots; but the light was not as dramatic as you've got here. Good work!
