Photographer's Note
At first, I want to say "thank you for your support" to Irina (Traveller) and Humberto (betogrein), which responded very fast on my questions with my previous photo, but especially many thanks to Jean-Yves (PixelTerror) who gave for me the needful information about night time shots. Of course, I need more practice later, but I hope that now my night shots will be better... :)
This pedestrian bridge to the Cathedral the Christ The Saviour looks very impressive at nights. It was built at the end of summer 2004. It is a three-span construction beginning at the base and columns of the Christ The Saviour抯 Cathedral, cross the Prchistenskaya and Bersenevskaya and finish with an escalator hall. The bridge is geometrically tied to the Cathedral ensemble and it is cross the river bed at an angle of 78 degrees. The bridge is 203 metres long and 12 metres wide. The total bridge area is 2,558 square metres.
The bridge is geometrically tied to the Christ the Savior抯 Cathedral ensemble. Russian Academy of Arts Professional Artistic Centre of Zurab Tsereteli provided artistic decoration of the bridge.

hi artur
well i think you're getting the hang of night shots now, this is simply breathtaking!
i love the lights reflected on the underside of the bridge, and the way you've positioned the shot so the bridge leads the eye to the cathedral. wonderful!

Privet Arthur,
Congratulations, you're doing very well here !
I like here the bridge and river perspective leading to the church, the reflected colors under the bridge are very nice too and the sharpness of this shot is excellent !
Have a nice sunday,
Jean-Yves

Great night shot! This looks like something you would see in a magazine. Maybe I need to look at the advice Jean Yves gave you! The lighting on the bridge has been very well captured, and looks much more interesting than in daylight.

A superbly exposed shot, Arthur. The detail you have captured here is wonderful. Great colours too. Composition is also excellent with the bridge starting from the top left corner and leading the eye across the frame to the cathedral.

This is an excellent night shot and one that has great composition. The lights are rendered perfectly here and the exposure and colouring is brilliant. A great effort and a good piece of framing. Well done and happy 2006
