Photographer's Note
In 1866, Korea and France fought for the first time here. France was very angry at the massacre and suppression of Catholics in Joseon(Old Korea). France invaded Ganghwado Island to retaliate against the incident, making it the first Western-Korean battle. The French army looted many cultural assets of Joseon.
At that time, Joseon's ruling class thought Western civilization, religion, and Japan were all orangkae(barbaric outlander). Only China was recognized as a country. The idea was very biased.

Hello Infinite,
The darkness about the sea cares fore a nice contrast picture in black and white.
Panorama and presentation are superb.
Very well done, TFS.
Have a nice weekend,
John.

Hi Jang
A good dark photo of the location of a battle that I've never heard of (not very surprisingly).
By the way which is the appropriate name to use when addressing you Infinite or Jang?
cheers
Ian
