One statue of the the four pairs of metal demons that stand guard on top of the stairways, a pair at each entrance,to Phra Mondop(Repository of the Royal Golden Addition of the Buddhist Cannon).
This building was built by King Rama I. and replaced the original building that was destroyed by fire. The original building was destroyed by fire on the day of its inauguration caused by fireworks. However, the manuscripts and the mother-of-pearl inlaid cabinet that contained them were miraculously saved.
The walls of the Phra Mondop are covered in green mirrored tiles inlaid with gold medallions depicting Buddha. Sixteen columns support the intricate multi-tier roof.
The Phra Mondop is never open to the public.

Ciao Attila!
Hai inquadrato in modo inusuale e molto spiritoso questo personaggio. Ed è anche uno dei pochi modi per evitare le folle di turisti che girano in quel posto.
Ciao!

Hi Attila
A very good scan indeed, I'm impressed how good it turned out. The colors possibly have a slight blueish tint, but it depends at which time you took the picture. Very sharp and perfectly framed, well done
Best regards

Hi Attila, Good POV of this magnificent Grand Palace. The shape and height of these structures mean it is a real challenge to get good images of an original nature as you have achieved here. This works well. TFS. Murray.
