This gilded chedi is one of two on the upper terrace of Wat phra kaew in front of the royal pantheon抯 staircase. They are devoted to the parents of king Rama I. I took a very similar hot. Wonderful warm cold colour contrasts between the blue sky and gilded temple. Nice repetition of the guardian statues. Tfs!

A very good photo with fine colours and exposure and superb symmetry. I thought maybe those demons were supposed to guard the stupa, but they seem to be busy already. ;-)

A fantastic photo of the golden tower, seen here wonderfully against the light blue sky. The details are captured clearly and perfectly. The sculptures in the foreground are also wonderful.

Hello Gueguel, an excellent close view of the stupa. We can see the mythical demons very clearly, and the gold colour shines brightly. The faces of the demons really are quite scary!

Superbly collected upwards POV from the statues around and to the top of the golden exceptional plated pagoda style tower.
Favorable light, great sharp details shown and on my second look I realized the different "faces" of each figure.
